Organizational Structure

Local Church Council
The local Church Council is the highest advisory and policy making body in the church. Its membership includes but not limited to the Senior Pastor, the Deacons, the Legal Advisor of the Church and any approved member(s).

The Pastor
The Pastor is the senior individual official of the church. His office is subject only to God. He chairs the church council which. He controls and calls the church council meetings and chairs them, unless he has delegated that privilege. All other bodies of the church serve as advisory bodies to the Pastor and cannot oblige the Pastor on any suggestions given.

Associate Pastors
All other Pastors of the church serve as Pastors in charge of various ministries in the church and are responsible to the Senior Pastor. Their roles are delegated by the Senior Pastor.

They form a Pastoral ministry to members of the church with the Senior Pastor being the head of the Pastoral Body.Thus support and advisory role to the Senior Pastor.They may sit in Church Council meetings at will.

Pastors' Spouses
Pastors' spouses serve with their spouse and also in an advisory role to their spouses and also to the Senior Pastor and other Pastors where their spouses (the Pastor) is not available to carry out this role. In that situation they will be acting in the role of their spouse (Pastor).

Their authority is derived from that which has been confered on them by virtue of being a support to their spouses.

They are considered to be playing the same role as the Associate Pastor's. Thus support and advisory role to the Senior Pastor. They may sit in church council meetings at will. They may give suggestions only, except the Senior Pastor's spouse when she/he has been asked to attend in place of the Senior Pastor who could not attend due to other constraints.

Associate Pastor's spouses, can attend Church Council meeting as observers in the same capacity as the Associate Pastor.

Deacons & Deaconesses
The deacons are chosen from among the congregation to “serve the church” in the practical, spiritual, and temporal matters of that body of believers. They serve in supporting role to the Pastor and are members of the church council and expected to sit in during council meetings.

Departmental and Ministerial heads
The various departments and ministries in the church each has its own leadership. These leaders in most cases have the passion for and the knowledge necessary to lead that department.

Heads of Departments submit their monthly progress reports to the Senior Pastor.

Pastoral and Support Staff
In all, Dominion Temple is run by a team of dynamic and dedicated pastoral and support staff who volunteer their services to the course of the church.
