Hospitality & Welfare Department |
This department plays a role in the organization of all activities that involves the use of food and being organized by the church or where the church plays a role.
It is responsible in planning and coordinating the up-keep of the church's guest, especially in the area of food and in some cases, lodging.
This department is made up primarily of few individuals who by virtue of their experience in matters of hospitality are well versed in planning any reception or food event. In organizing events however, they ask for necessary assistance and use the help they can get from members of the church.
In most cases they serve a very valuable source of information and suggestions in having or organizing programs such as, naming ceremonies, funeral services, weddings and any such like events.
This department is the department that receives the forms that you fill for your naming ceremonies, funerals, baby dedication, etc. They inform you about what will happen and the officiating pastoral staff that will be charged with your event.
Whenever food and issues of hospitality is involved, they are the first consultations necessary, especially where the church premises will be utilized.
It is also involved with the welfare of members and organizes visitations when a member is sick, hospitalized, etc.
